05

What to Expect During the Test

Here’s what will happen when you start your online hearing test:

Volume Calibration

You'll adjust your device volume to a comfortable level using sample tones.

Beep Test Begins

You'll hear a series of beeps at different frequencies and volumes in each ear separately.

Respond Promptly

Click or tap each time you hear a beep sound, even if it’s faint.

Test Completion

At the end, you’ll receive a basic report indicating how well you heard various frequencies.

Results Interpretation

You may be advised to seek a professional hearing assessment if signs of hearing loss are present.

What You’ll Need

To get the most accurate results, make sure you have:

A Quiet Room –

Free from background noise

Headphones or Earbuds –

Preferably over-the-ear for better sound isolation

A Smartphone, Tablet, or Computer –

With reliable internet access

5-10 Minutes of Undisturbed Time –

To complete the test without interruptions

Note:

While the online beep test is a helpful screening tool, it does not replace a clinical Pure Tone Audiometry test conducted by a professional audiologist.
